Howzit Buddy is free for every South African school. Fill in the form, then click Activate my school in the email we send to your school's address. No paperwork, no waiting for approval.
Only the email address your school registered with can make a new code. Type your school's name and we'll email that address a secure link.
The link works for 24 hours. Opening it lets you create a new code: the old one stops working straight away and everyone signs in again with the new one.

Someone has registered this school, but nobody has clicked Activate my school in the email yet, so it isn't live. Can't find that email? We can send it again, to the same address.
One form, right here. We email your school's address: click Activate my school in that email and you get your access code. The school only appears on Howzit Buddy once it's activated.
Any teacher or counsellor who needs the wellbeing dashboard uses that one code, no individual sign-ups, nothing for anyone to approve.
Use the sample template on your dashboard: fill in your learners and upload it. Each learner gets a student code. Nobody can add themselves to your school, so nobody outside it ever appears on your dashboard.
Put up your school's QR poster. Learners scan the QR code or open the link, type their student code (or their own password, if they've set one) and they're in. They check in daily, you see how they're doing and get alerted when someone may need support.

Check your email
Check your email and click Activate my school — your school only appears once it's activated.

Why the extra step? Your access code opens your learners' wellbeing check-ins. Sending the activation link to the school's own address is how we make sure a school is set up by the school, and not by somebody who simply typed its name in here.
Can't find the email? Look in the spam or junk folder: it comes from no-reply@howzitbuddy.co.za. The link works for 14 days. If nobody activates it by then, the registration is removed and the school can be registered again.
